I came to "Just Between Us," two years ago as a frustrated 27-year-old woman who literally spent hours a day removing and concealing the hair on my upper lip, chin and neck.
I exhausted every possible method of hair removal. It started with the useless and unproductive bleaching, then the smelly depilatory creams, messy and painful waxing and daily tweezing. All of which made the hair thicker and coarser, not to mention all of the breakouts from torturing my skin. I event spent over $1000 on 5 laser treatments which were supposed remove the hair permanently. Laser Hair Removal was a BIG mistake; all of the hairs grew back stronger than ever.
I felt alone in my problem, none of my friends had to worry daily about hair on their face. It affected my everyday life. It took me hours to get ready and I still walked out the door self-conscious about my appearance. I never wanted to stay overnight anywhere because I knew I’d wake up with new hair growth. Even the thought of being out in the sunlight stressed me out for fear of someone noticing my stubble. I hid it well, but it took a toll on me physically and emotionally.
Needless to say, I was desperate for a solution. I had heard of Electrolysis, but was skeptical until a friend of mine at work told me about "Just Between Us." She said going there was the best thing she has ever done. To see living proof that electrolysis actually worked was all the convincing I needed. I took that step, made the appointment and started going once a week. I started seeing results within a few weeks. I knew it was working. I was so impressed with the professionalism of the Mother/Daughter team that I’ve continued my appointments to this day.
Electrolysis has been the only method of hair removal that has kept it’s promise. I’m so addicted that now that I’ve moved on to other parts of my body!
Rebecca and Phyllis have truly been dedicated to making me look and feel beautiful again. I can’t thank them enough for giving me my face back. Now, as a 29 year old who’s getting married in a few months, I feel great and I’m actually excited about having my picture taken. Bring on the close-ups!

“Just Between Us” is the 3rd Electrolysis practice I have tried. In a very short period of time, they eliminated all the hair. There has been virtually no regrowth. That definitely was not the case with the other two places I went to (for two wasted years and money). I can’t recommend them enough.

Being a person with a lot of facial hair can be quite embarrassing. Since the 7th grade I have been self conscious of my facial/body hair. After 2 years, not only is my face smooth as a baby’s butt, but also my self-confidence is tremendous. You made my worst fear, my biggest accomplishment! Ever since first grade I was made fun of because I had hair on my face. I started waxing my face, which only made it worse. My Mother decided to send me for Electrolysis. I finally got lucky finding “Just Between Us” in the Penny saver. It was the best thing to ever happen to me after trying every other method of hair removal. I even tried other electrologists who did nothing for me but take my money! I feel so much better about myself- I only wish I had this benefit up at college! I thank my lucky stars every day that I met Phyllis Langberg. For most of my post-pubescent life, I struggled with the issue of unsightly facial and body hair. In school, I wore my hair down to hide my side burns and I wore long sleeve shirts to hide my arms even during blisteringly hot summers.
Excess facial and body hair is devastating for a teenager. I was embarrassed by it but I was also determined to undo what genetics had done. In college, I tried eliminating the hair through tweezing, shaving and bleaching. I also visited numerous Electrologists and hair removal specialists. Some lacked state of the art equipment, others lacked the talent to become an effective Electrologist, and others simply lacked professionalism. After college, and desperate to be rid of my problem, I started a weekly and agonizing process of waxing my entire face and neck. I had hit rock bottom.
Six months later, in 1998, I met Phyllis Langberg of “Just Between Us”. I immediately started a treatment program with her and I stopped waxing. Committed to eliminating my excess facial and body hair, I visited “Just Between Us” every week and then every other week.
